Latvian ethno jazz group ''Bur mani" was established in 2014. The group consists of professional jazz musicians and friends – Elza Rozentāle (voice), Kaspars Kurdeko (percussion, drums), Toms Poišs (contrabass) and Kaspars Vizulis (guitar).
"Bur mani" music successfully combines Latvian folk songs with jazz and popular music without losing the deeply meditative and powerful energy of Latvian tradition roots.
The group's new concert program will consist of their upcoming album "Lakstīgala" (The Nightingale), which will feature original music with lyrics from Latvian folk songs, as well as "Bur mani" favorite tunes, well known in the nation, enriching them with new sounds and rhythms.
